Metal Gear Solid
Ever since I play Metal Gear Solid(MGS) 3 on PS2, I instantly fall in love with that particular series. Somehow, that game is just pure fun, you can either treat it as a shooting game or a stealth game. So I always wanting to play MGS2 and MGS4 but since my MGS2 is yarhar'ed so my PS2 can't load it properly and I don't have PS3 back then.
So now I manage to get a original MGS2 and a PS3 in my brother room. So I waste no time, I put the MGS2 into PS2 and MGS4 into PS3 and I am enjoying those game now. But there are general thing I like about the game
Different ways to play the game, as in maybe first time you would just want to kill anything in your way. Maybe the other time you would want to sneak(stealth). Maybe this time you use this weapon, maybe next time not. There just just so many ways to play it.
Second is humor. MGS series is packed with them, there are so many easter egg as well. Most of them are funny, it is actually worth tracking down all the easter egg to just watch all these funny event.
All the boss have their own personalities and most importantly, some of the boss fight are really really epic. Some of my top favourite boss battle are from MGS too!
So these are my rough impression so far.
Metal Gear Solid 2
This game play quite smiliar to MGS3, which is a very very good thing. However, the map is quite boring since we are stuck to this particular place. So we always walk and forth the same area.
However, playing as Raiden is a nice change. Infact, I think I like Raiden more than I like Snake though.Somehow, I just find him way cooler than Snake for some reason. However, this does not mean I don't like snake. Snake is still a very very good character and he is funny... and a bit pervertic :D.
Though this game does not do better than MGS3, it is still a good game as the storyline is actually linked up to MGS4.
Metal Gear Solid 4
It's been a while since I play any game like MGS4. As in I went back to play and back to play again. The last game, I believe it was Phoenix Wright. I have been playing three games at once, Lunar, MGS2 and MGS4. I play MGS4 the most. Of course for a reason. The graphic are STUNNING, the sound track is AWESOME, the character are developed very GOOD, the boss battle are EPIC and the gameplay is just PERFECT.
I was so engross into the game where there are cutscene, which are fully voiced. Some of them are action battle(which I love), some of them explain storyline and many more. I enjoyed every single of those.
There are so much more I love about this game, maybe on par with MGS3. I am so going to replay MGS4 after I completed it.
